Amy Raabe, MS, RDN, LDN, is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in sports dietetics and Medical Nutrition Therapy for athletes and active populations in both Northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Amy earned her baccalaureate and graduate degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she practiced as a Sports Nutritionist for the varsity athletic teams, coaches, and trainers. Currently, as full-time faculty at Youngstown State University, she instructs and supervises students enrolled in the three ACEND-Accredited dietetics programs, and serves as the Director of the Dietetic Technician Program. She has spearheaded a community outreach project at Austintown High School in Ohio, where she and her senior dietetics students work with players and coaches to provide nutrition education geared toward optimizing performance for high school athletes. With her continued focus on the field of sports nutrition, Amy is able to pursue the requirements for credentialing as a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics.
