Dr. Casey Unverzagt is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Admissions for Baylor University’s DPT program. He also works as a staff physical therapist at the Slippery Rock location of Wise Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. He received his B.S. from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, and his DPT from Slippery Rock University of PA. He completed his Doctorate of Science in Orthopaedic and Manual Therapy from Andrews University in Michigan. He completed a sports residency in White Salmon, Washington, after which he became board certified in sports physical therapy. Dr. Unverzagt is also board certified in orthopaedics, and is currently finishing up his fellowship in orthopaedic and manual therapy. He also has adjunct teaching responsibilities for Slippery Rock University, South College, Scorebuilders, and Evidence in Motion. He lives with his wife and 4 kids: Josiah, Bereket, Tamagn and Liliana Mulu. With any free time, you’ll find him running or hiking.
